We are delighted to hear that your group has shown an interest in performing this new musical which dares to tackle the topical subjects of gang-culture and knife crime while telling a story of love, sacrifice and intimidation.

You are guaranteed to get attention from local media, schools, and youth organisations by staging such a media concentrated theme. The musical has a minimum cast of 17 but is easily adapted to a accommodate a larger (or smaller) cast.

Rights to perform the new show for up to 10 performances of your choice

You can choose to perform the show up to 10 times from now until 2012.

A PDF of the script OR a scene by scene guideline to encourage improvisation

Whereas some groups like to stick by a script and build on that, others prefer the improvisational routes. Here, we offer both. The scripted dialogue itself is very rough and made to be adapted and changed to make it more natural, however, it can be kept verbatim if you choose to do so. Another option is to be sent a scene by scene guideline with detailed character descriptions and scene objectives, hereby leaving no other option than complete improvisation and therefore making the characters your own.

Backing tracks for all the songs in the show (keys can be changed)

There are seventeen original songs in the musical, two of which are instrumental. We can send you either the MP3's of all the songs or the midi files (if you wish to add your own VST) for most of them . If required, we can alter the keys to suit your singers. Should you wish to have a live orchestra the scores can be made available at a later date.

Original stage plans (optional)

The original stage plans are basic and cheap, so for those who do not have a massive budget to spend on set you can take a look at these plans and mould them to suit your own needs.

Full day workshop with the original directors* (optional)

The first production of INTERTWINED had two directors, Paul Syrstad and Saul Matlock, both of whom have worked professionally whether it be on stage, open theatre, film or TV. If you think it might benefit your group, they will do a full day workshop with your entire cast.
* Subject to availability. We would ask that you cover any travel and accommodation costs if necessary.

100 CDs with all the songs from the musical to sell at your own price

We have made a CD which includes all the numbers of the musical. You may use some for your cast to learn the melodies of the songs and then sell them during your own production at your own prices.

Programme design layout (optional)

If you are interested in making a programme for your production we can provide you with the template of the one we used for the original show, leaving spaces for adverts and sponsors that you may wish to use to cover any printing costs.

The price:

We know how expensive it can be putting on a new show, getting the rights to do it and all the extra production costs that normally go alongside it. So we would like to offer you the chance to perform the show for free...in a sense. The only cost is to buy the 100 CD’s at £3.50 each, however, you are then at liberty to sell those CD’s during your production at whatever cost you wish to price them, therefore quickly recovering the initial outlay and easily making a profit.
